5 Family Members Killed In Southeast Aceh, Perpetrators Still Brother The Motive Is Revenge

ACEH - The Southeast Aceh Police revealed a motive for premeditated murder of a family that resulted in five deaths and another serious injury.

Head of the Southeast Aceh Police, Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Yulhendri, said the perpetrator of the murder with the initials AS (21) still had a family relationship with the victims.

"Investigators from the Southeast Aceh Police revealed the motive for the premeditated murder after conducting a series of investigations and investigations. The perpetrator killed the victim out of revenge," he said in Southeast Aceh, Friday, July 4, which was confiscated by Antara.

The police chief said five victims died with the initials FZ (3), LA (13), EL (15), and HD (25). They are cousins of the perpetrator. And another victim who died with the initials NB (52) was the perpetrator's uncle.

"The uncles and four cousins of the perpetrators were seriously injured and died. Meanwhile, one other victim who is currently critical is MT 51 years old who is a neighbor of the perpetrator's grandmother," said Yulhendri.

He said that from the results of the pre-reconstruction, it was known that the US planned murder was due to revenge against the victim's family.

The police chief said that the perpetrator's father while living in Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh Province, had been beaten by the victim's family, expelled, and humiliated, so he had to live in a garden in the Kompas Mountains, Southeast Aceh Regency.

The perpetrator has a grudge against the victim's family. The US considers that the cause of life is poor and living in the Kompas Mountains is caused by the victim's family. That's why the US killed the victims," said Yulhendri.

The police chief mentioned the incident as a heartbreaking family tragedy. All the victims were his own family, namely uncles, cousins, and neighbors. The trigger was an old wound, then exploded into uncontrollable anger.

The perpetrators were charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code and Article 80 Paragraph (3) of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning child protection.

"The threat of punishment, death penalty or life imprisonment or a maximum of 20 years and or a minimum of 15 years," said Yulhendri.
