Revenue And Download Of App Store Alami Improvement Globally

JAKARTA App Store revenue, Apple's app store, has increased globally. The advantages of this platform were successfully revealed after the Bank of America released its performance report.

The report, citing from Investing, took data from SensorTower. The data shows that App Store revenue rose by 12 percent year-over-year (YOY) in June. The number of app downloads has also increased.

In the same period, the number of app downloads on the App Store only increased by 4 percent. The gap in the amount of revenue and download shows that monetization in the App Store is running better than before.

Interestingly, the Bank of America notes that App Store users tend to spend money on non-game applications. Although it is still the most dominant category, games only account for 45 percent of the total App Store revenue this quarter.

This is a decline in the game category because in previous years games always contributed more than 50 percent. This year, App Store users look more interested in Photo and Video applications, Lifestyle, Books, Education, and Utilities.

Each of these application categories increased by about one percent in market share. Of the many categories that are increasing, the most prominent category is Productivity. This application category has increased by up to two percent.

This data shows long-term gains for Apple. With the sharing of App Store data, app developers can understand the app store market and look for more relevant monetization strategies.
