At The End Of The Drug Case, Yoo Ah In Gets Two Years Of Trial

JAKARTA - Actor Yoo Ah In underwent a sentencing hearing related to drug use on Thursday, July 3. He received the last trial sentence after the previous trial.

The Supreme Court's First Division held a verdict hearing for Yoo Ah In who was charged with violating the Narcotics Act (a psychotropic substance), marijuana use, and sedition.

All prosecutors' appeals were rejected, as soon as the court declared Xsportsnews.

At the first trial in September 2024, Yoo Ah In was sentenced to one year in prison and a fine of 2 million Won and detained. Then, the actor and prosecutor filed an appeal against the decision of the first court.

The second trial that was held in February this year, the court gave a verdict like the first trial, but Yoo Ah In's sentence was reduced to one year in prison, two years probation, and a fine of 2 million Won.

Yoo Ah In was released after serving five months in prison at the Detention Center in Seoul.

With this, Yoo Ah In was released from prison and served a probationary period of two years after being imprisoned.
