Kominfo Blocks TikTok Application In History Today, July 3, 2018
JAKARTA History today, seven years ago, July 3, 2018, the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) officially blocked TikTok. The blocking was carried out in stages from the website and then the application. The video sharing application is considered to contain a lot of negative content for children.

The effort was also to block eight Domain Name Systems (DNS) or internet addresses containing TikTok video content. Everything is done by the government for the common good. However, TikTok will not be blocked forever. TikTok is asked to clean up and remove negative content. After that, then the blocking was lifted.
