At The Session, It Was Revealed That The Semarang Bapenda Employee Was Cut To IDR 3 Million For Deposit To Mbak Ita

JAKARTA - Employees of the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Semarang City, Central Java, are required to increase the togetherness contribution of IDR 3 million every three months in 2023 when there is a deposit of IDR 300 million for former Mayor (Walkot) Hevearita G. Rahayu alias Mbak Ita.

"I was asked to recalculate the togetherness fee because there was an additional expenditure of Rp. 300 million," said the Head of Sub-Division for the Determination of the Semarang City Bapenda Agung Wido Catur Utomo when examined as a witness in the trial of the alleged corruption case of former Mayor (Walkot) Hevearita G. Rahayu at the Semarang Corruption Court, Wednesday, July 2, confiscated by Antara.

According to him, the order regarding the additional expenditure of Rp. 300 million was the result of a meeting of the Head of the Semarang City Bapenda, Indriyasari, along with the heads of fields.

From the results of the recount, the witness decided that the Semarang City Bapenda employees should increase the average contribution of IDR 3 million per person.

However, the witness admitted that he did not know the purpose of increasing the expenditure of Rp. 300 million which had to be financed using the cost of togetherness.

"Ordered by the leadership. After I recalculated it, it was then recalculated by the head of the agency," he said in a trial chaired by Chief Judge Gatot Sarwadi.

In his testimony, Agung Wido admitted that there was no legal basis for cutting additional pungut wage income for the coffers of Semarang City Bapenda employees which he said were done voluntarily.

According to him, togetherness contributions are used to finance various needs of Semarang City Bapenda employees, including for picnics.

He admitted that Bapenda Semarang employees held a picnic to Bali in January 2024 and Singapore in February 2024.

"Piknik ke Bali awal 2024, itu merupakan pelaksanaan kegiatan yang seharusnya dilaksanakan pada akhir 2022," katanya

In this case, former Mayor Hevearita G. Rahayu was charged with receiving Rp 1.2 billion from the joint contributions of Bapenda Semarang City employees.

In addition, Hevearita's husband, Alwin Basri, was also charged with receiving Rp1 billion which also came from the same source.
