There Are 25 Points Of Bolong Walls In Cipinang Jatinegara, Closing Is Carried Out Gradually

JAKARTA - KAI Daop 1 Jakarta detailed that there are about 25 'split walls' on the railroad line barrier walls at KM 12+400 to KM 12+500 plots of roads between Jatinegara Station Klender, East Bekasi Street, Cipinang Besar Utara Village, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta.

From the 25 points of the 'hole wall', KAI Daop 1 Jakarta has only closed 2 holes. The next closure will be carried out in stages.

Public Relations Manager of PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, Ixfan Hendriwintoko said, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta will continue to monitor and preventive measures against various potential disturbances on the railroad tracks.

"Overall, there are approximately 25 holes made by people on purpose. The hole closure is carried out by the Jatinegara Resort Road and Bridge Unit (JJ), accompanied by internal and external security elements," said Ixfan when confirmed, Tuesday (1/7/2025).

Ixfan explained that activities on the railroad track without a permit were unlawful acts.

"Based on Article 181 of Law Number 23 of 2007 concerning Railways", he continued, it reads "Everyone is prohibited from being on the railway line, dragging, mobilizing, or placing goods on the railway line that could endanger train travel".

"Violations of these provisions can be subject to a maximum imprisonment of 3 (three) months or a maximum fine of Rp. 15,000,000, - (fifteen million rupiah) as stipulated in Article 199 of the same law," he said.

Ixfan explained that his party will continue to carry out activities to close and repair this guardrail in a sustainable manner, especially at vulnerable points that are often broken into by irresponsible parties.
