KAI Officers Close 2 Bolong Wall Points In Cipinang Jatinegara

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Daop 1 Jakarta closed a 'split wall' hole on the railroad wall at KM 12+400 to KM 12+500 plots of roads between Jatinegara Station Klender, East Jakarta.

The closure was carried out as an effort to maintain the safety of train travel and the safety of the community around the railroad tracks.

"This closure is a follow-up to the condition of the wall that was again broken into by irresponsible persons, even though repairs and closures have previously been carried out at the same point," said KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager, Ixfan Hendriwintoko, Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

Actions to destroy fences and railroad barriers are very dangerous for safety, both for train travel and the surrounding community.

"We appeal to all residents to help maintain the integrity of the fence and the guardrail that has been built. This facility is made to ensure mutual safety, and prevent illegal access to the very dangerous railway line," he said.

The closing activity began on Monday at around 10:00 WIB until it was finished.

"Meanwhile, today, Monday, June 30, 2025, the team will close 2 holes and the rest gradually," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the East Jakarta Satpol PP raided the localization area of the Cipinang 'split wall' prostitution, Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Jatinegara District and Klender area, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta.
