Bongbong Marcos Inaugurated As President Of The Philippines In Today's Memory, June 30, 2022

JAKARTA Memories of today, three years ago, June 30, 2022, Ferdinand Marcos Jr. or better known as Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte were inaugurated as President and Vice President of the Philippines. The inauguration was greeted with joy.

Previously, Bongbong's presence on the Philippine political stage brought a stir. He is known as the son of a dictator. The image is in fact not an obstacle for Bongbong. He was able to erase his family's bad image and replace it with an achievement image.

The people of the Philippines used to be furious with Ferdinand Marcos' power. The president of the Philippines in the 1965-1986 era often brought wounds to the people of the Philippines. His leadership is repressive. Corrupt too. Whoever criticizes the government, will surely listen to it.

This condition made the people of the Philippines move against the rulers. The people's efforts were successful. Marcos and his family fled Hawaii with their corrupt assets. News related to Marcos' family then almost drowned with the state's atmosphere starting to become conducive.

Later Marcos' family began to return to the Philippines. The son of Ferdinand Marcos, Bongbong was able to penetrate the Philippine world of politics from the 1980s. This political career made him one of the popular politicians in the Philippines.

Bongbong also established steps to become a leader of the Philippines in the future. Ulam's beloved peak arrives. Bongbong then collaborated with Sara Duterte, who in fact is the son of the President of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte as his companion in the 2022 Philippine Presidential Election.

Its appearance is not easy. His parents' past sins continue to overshadow. However, Bongbong did not run out of sense. He began to pack the image of his parents' bad past. He changed his bad image with a narrative of his parents' kindness and achievements while leading the Philippines.

He used the social media funnel to spread positive information under the power of his parents. The result was positive. The Filipino people seem to forget history. This condition made Bongbong-Sara the strongest pair.

Young people do not have any experience, memory, or knowledge of Marcos' regime. This condition legitimizes that Millennials and Gen Z seem to be the main drivers of support for Bongbong Marcos on social media. The Asian Pulse survey company also found that 72% of registered voters aged 18-24 supported Marcos, said Ella Hermono and Chad de Guzman in writing on the TIME page entitled A Dictator 's Son Rewriting History on TikTok in His Bid to Become the Philippines' Next President(2022).

The 2022 Philippine presidential election will take place on May 5, 2022. That day it became the determination that Bongbong could outperform its opponents such as Leni Robredo and former boxer, Manny Pacquiao. Finally, Bongbong won as many survey institutions revealed.

Bongbong won by getting 58.77 percent of the vote. Leni got 27.94 votes, and Pacquiao only got 6.81 percent. As a result, Bongbong and Sara became elected Presidents of the Philippines. He was then officially sworn in on June 30, 2022.

Bongbong took an oath in front of hundreds of representatives of local and foreign governments at the Manila National Museum. Bongbong also in his speech again praised his father's previous administration. He said a series of achievements. While his father's shortcomings were considered part of politics.

Bongbong promised to bring progress to the Philippines. He also did not want to be side by side with his father's government. Bongbong thinks he has his own leadership style.

"I've known a man (Ferdinand Marcos) who saw how little this country has progressed since independence, but he changed everything," Bongbong said as quoted on the tempo.co page, June 30, 2022.
