Had Mangkir, Kejari Call Again Suspect M Investigate Corruption In The Bor Suela Well, East Lombok

The East Lombok District Attorney (Kejari) will recall suspect M to investigate the alleged corruption case of the drilling well construction project in Tejong Daya Hamlet, Suela District, East Lombok.

M as the executor of the drilling well project in Suela District who was named the fourth suspect in this case on Friday, June 13, 2025, has been absent from the East Lombok Kejari's first summons.

"So, we have sent a second summons. The summons is to be examined as a suspect. The agenda is if I'm not mistaken on Thursday (July 3) this week," said Head of the Special Crimes Section of the East Lombok Kejari Ida Bagus Putu Swadharma by telephone, Monday 30 June, confiscated by Antara.

He said that the examination of M as a fourth suspect would be the final step in the investigation, considering that all files had been completed.

"For state losses, all evidence has been issued. So, it's just a statement from the suspect. If it's complete, we'll transfer the files to the research prosecutor," he said.

In handling this case, three other suspects have undergone examination and detention of investigators. The detention of the three was deposited in Class II B Selong Prison, East Lombok Regency.

The three suspects who have been detained have the initials AST, project supervisory consultant; ABS, project implementing company owner, and DS, project commitment maker (PPK) official.

The Prosecutor's Office has named these four suspects in accordance with the results of the case title followed up by the Head of the East Lombok Kejari by issuing a suspect determination letter Number: Tap-02 /N.2.12 / Fd.2 / 06/2025 dated June 12, 2025.

Investigators named them suspects by applying Article 2 paragraph (1) and/or Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law No. 20 of 2001 jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code jo. Article 65 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.

The alleged corruption in this case was strengthened by the results of the audit of state financial losses from the NTB Inspectorate with a value of Rp1.05 billion from the nominal project of Rp1.13 billion.

The Prosecutor's Office in the investigation stage has carried out a series of collecting evidence from witness examinations and related documents. It was recorded that there were dozens of witnesses who provided information in the investigation.

Witnesses come from the East Lombok Regency Government, the central government, in this case the Kemendes PDTT as the distributor of projects, contractors, and private parties related to the implementation of activities.

The project worth Rp1.13 billion comes from the 2017 DIPA APBN. The project was realized through the Directorate of Food-Prone Regional Development of the Ministry of Villages PDTT RI.

The project, which is located in the Suela area, East Lombok Regency, was carried out by CV Samas. The investigation into this case stems from the status of the project that has stalled since the year of work.
