Reality Club Continue Travel Towards Fourth Album Via You'll Find Lovers Like You And Me
JAKARTA - Reality Club kembali dengan single baru berjudul You'll Find Lovers Like You and Me. Lagu ini merupakan single kedua menyusul Quick! Love! yang dirilis Mei lalu untuk menyambut album keempat yang akan datang dalam waktu dekat.
Written by Faiz Novascotia Saripudin, You'll Find Lovers Like You and Me is presented as a melancholic song that reflects the nature of the relationship after it ends.
Even if any specific relationship ends, one day we will find a new love and the same goes for a former partner. This tin is both a good and a bad thing, because on the one hand we will find love again even though it hurts that much. On the other hand, does that mean that yesterday's relationship wasn't that special? " said Faiz in his statement, Sunday, June 29.
This song, said Faiz, was inspired by the fading of the relationship I had. I imagine dancing with my partner again and trying to be happy, but can already feel the end of the relationship. Some scenes of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind are also inspiring.
The idea of composing this song emerged when the Reality Club was working on material in Ubud, Bali in May 2024. Most personnel agreed to work on it further, although Faiz had doubts.
"Lucunya, Faiz pada awalnya kurang yakin dengan lagu ini karena cukup sederhana tanpa ada peruba tempo dan chord-nya pun enggak banyak berubah," tutur Chia. Sebaliknya, saya dan Nugi nyaasa, ni! Sejak dulu, saya ingin Reality Club punya lagu seperti ini, dan akhirnya kekirakan juga.
You'll Find Lovers Like You and Me get his life when the Reality Club undergoes a recording session at Tree Recording Studio, Bangkok, Thailand in March 2025, assisted by Brad Oberhofer and Wisnu Ikhsantama as producers.
"This is another song that got a touch from Brad, and I think he is very successful in maintaining the essence of the song while adding fresh ideas through its production," said Nugi.
The song also involves Gerry Roithart on electric and acoustic guitars, Upi Maajid on synthesizer, and Brad Oberhofer on synthesizer and theremin.
