WIKA Beton Agrees To Add Electric Installation Business Lines

JAKARTA - PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) has agreed to add new businesses in the field of electrical installation. This is the result of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS).

This step was marked by the approval of changes to the company's Articles of Association to add electrical installation business activities with KBLI code 43211.

"Agreeing to the addition of business activities supporting the Company, namely the Electricity Installation with KBLI code 43211 to the Company's Articles of Association, the Company can carry out business activities," said WIKA Beton Corporate Secretary Yushadi quoting Antara.

The meeting which took place face-to-face at WIKA Tower 2 Jakarta and online through the Electronic General Meeting System KSEI (EASY KSEI) system was attended by shareholders representing 67.32 percent of the company's total issued shares.

In the single agenda of the EGMS, the shareholders approved the results of a feasibility study on the plan to add new business activities prepared by the Guntur, Eki, Andri and Partner Public Appraisal Service Offices (KJPP).

In addition, the EGMS also approved changes to Article 3 of the Articles of the Articles of the Articles of the Articles of Association which included these supporting business activities.

Shareholders agreed to grant full power and authority to the board of directors, especially the President Director or other Directors, to follow up on meeting decisions in the realm of law and administrative affairs. This includes the implementation of all the results of meeting decisions in the form of a notary deed, as part of the official process of changing the Company's Articles of Association.

With this mandate, the board of directors is given the flexibility to represent the company in submitting changes to the Basic Budget to the competent authorities to obtain approval or an official notification receipt from the regulator.

Not only that, but the board of directors is also given the authority to take all additional measures deemed necessary, including making further adjustments or changes to the Basic Budget if requested by the relevant agencies.
