Raisa Celebrates Various Feelings And Maturity As Musicians On AmbiVert Albums

JAKARTA - Raisa Andriana's musical journey has arrived on the fifth album. He poured out various stories and feelings into the album that signifies his maturity. He named it ambiVert.

Officially launched today, June 25 on various digital platforms, this fifth album is concurrently full of dedication. He went to the music camp with the producers to focus on focusing, hone creativity in writing songs.

Guitarist and composer, Lafa Pratomo acts as a producer for this project. In addition, there are also other names such as Rendy Pandugo and Rishanda Wicaksono and the late Gusti Irwan Wibowo.

Each album has its own identity and story. For Raisa, this album records the point of view, feelings and musicality that are circulating in her head. Therefore, ambiVert will be different from previous albums.

"I don't think this album can be compared to other albums, because every album is a moment in time," Raisa said at a press conference for the launch of the ambiVert album in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, June 25.

Raisa deliberately packs this album closer and embraces listeners. Technically, he tries to make it up with a less complicated arrangement feel. He wants to focus on the content of the song and the feelings he wants to convey.

I've done quite a lot of music exploration in previous albums. I still want to make something new, but new doesn't mean something weird. I want this album to be more of an acoustic sound-sound. Sound-sound stripped down," he explained.

Interestingly, the title abiVert itself comes at the final moments of the album finishing process. The term is considered the most suitable to describe Raisa's two sides in 11 tracks with her interesting dynamics.

Raisa also hooked up two singers as collaborators. There is Rony Parulian in the song Stay Not You and Barsena Bestandhi in the song Awal Kisah Forever.

"I really like collaboration, but indeed collaboration is something that can't be made up, it can't be forced. In this album there are two collaborations, for Barsena herself, it's been a long time since I've been singing together because I've been working with her from the Handmade album. And we both admire each other. Collaboration with Barsena really happened organic, "said Raisa.
