Askrindo-BSS Parking Liability Insurance Cooperation
PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo) memperkuat lini bisnis asuransi noncredit perseroan melalui kerja sama asuransi gugatat kepada pihak ketiga (public liability insurance) dengan PT Bahana Security System (BSS Parking) di Kota Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan.
Askrindo Business Director Budhi Novianto in Jakarta, Wednesday, June 25, said the collaboration between Askrindo Makassar Branch Office (KC) and BSS Parking shows his party's commitment to continue to prioritize protection for the community, especially over the risk of legal responsibility for third parties.
He said public liability insurance or gugatate responsibility insurance is a very much needed protection in the service sector, especially in public areas such as parking lots that have a potential risk to the safety of visitors and other third parties.
"The benefits of this insurance itself are to provide protection for BSS Parking's business against claims from third parties (such as customers or pedestrians) due to unexpected risks such as body injuries or property damage caused by business activities," he said, quoted by Antara.
Budhi said that this public liability insurance product can help protect BSS Parking, as the manager of parking locations operating in many locations in Makassar City, from potential financial losses that could arise due to lawsuits.
He stated that currently the potential for risks in Makassar City is getting higher, considering that the area is one of the metropolitan cities with rapid developments in eastern Indonesia.
Through this collaboration, both parties seek to build a business ecosystem that is safe, responsible, and sustainable, and provides added value to the community and the national economy.

He said similar cooperation would be expanded in other cities, so that the company could become a potential company in expanding Askrindo's non-credit general insurance portfolio, which is a member of the insurance BUMN holding and guarantee of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG).
"Currently, only 15 locations are borne by Askrindo KC Makassar, while other locations are in the process of being accounted for. The parking locations are in shopping centers, offices, campuses, and other public facilities," said Budhi.
