Read 2 Indictments At The Same Time, Nikita Mirzani Threatened With 6 Years In Prison
JAKARTA - Artist Nikita Mirzani was present at the inaugural trial regarding the alleged extortion and money laundering (TPPU) case at the South Jakarta District Court (Jaksel), Tuesday, June 24.
In this inaugural trial, Nikita Mirzani read out two charges at once by the Public Prosecutor (JPU). Where the first charges are extortion and Electronic Threats.
Nikita was charged with violating Article 45 paragraph (10) letter a in conjunction with Article 27B paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions, which has been amended by Law Number 1 of 2024, in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
Based on the indictment, the Syirik film player: Danyang Laut Selatan is threatened with a maximum sentence of 6 years with a maximum fine of IDR 1 billion.
"The defendant Nikita Mirzani and the defendant Ismail Marzuki committed the crime of those who ordered to do it, and those who participated in the act deliberately lost or falsified electronic information with the intention of benefiting themselves or others," said the Public Prosecutor.

Then the second indictment, Nikita was charged with Article 3 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of the Crime of Money Laundering jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
"That the defendant Nikita Mirzani together with witness Ismail Marzuki was very aware and realized that he had received Rp 4 billion from witness Reza Gladys as a result of a crime," continued the Public Prosecutor.
"That the defendant Nikita Mirzani's actions together with witness Ismail Marzuki resulted in witness Reza Gladys experiencing a loss of Rp. 4 billion," continued the Public Prosecutor.
Previously, Nikita Mirzani and Ismail Marzuki or Mail Syahputra were officially detained after being named suspects during an investigation at the Polda Metro Jaya some time ago.
Both of them were named suspects on Reza Gladys's report related to allegations of extortion and money laundering after being reported.
According to Reza's report, Nikita allegedly slandered Reza's good name and products during a live broadcast on TikTok.
