Iranian Missiles Hit Israel's Beer Sheva, Severe Damage Occurs

JAKARTA - Several people were rescued after a residential building in southern Israel was hit by a direct Iranian missile strike on Tuesday morning.

Three people were reportedly killed in an attack in the city of Beer Sheva and six others were treated with minor to moderate injuries, according to Israeli emergency service Magen David Amol (MDA).

The Iranian missile attack on the residential building caused a major explosion and thick gray smoke, according to a social media video verified by CNN.

Photos after the incident showed concrete debris and a burning and burning vehicle lined up on the road in front of the residential building.

The building's Fasad was destroyed, showing damaged houses inside, according to geographically allocated photos by CNN. Emergency response officers were seen walking through severe damage.

Firefighters rescued three civilians alive from the rubble, MDA said, while search and rescue operations continued.

The walls of nearby buildings also appear badly damaged, according to a video verified by CNN shared on social media and published by Israeli authorities.

"We saw thick smoke billowing from the crash site, and as we got closer, we saw severe damage in several buildings," Shimirit Sela, an MDA emergency worker, told CNN.
