Jakarta PPSU Recruitment Officially Opened In Each Kelurahan, What Is The Fate Of Citizen Applications At City Hall?

JAKARTA - The registration process for officers handling public infrastructure and facilities (PPSU) in DKI Jakarta is officially opened with a total of 1,023 people for 239 urban villages. Delivery of application letters to other stages is immediately carried out in each village office.

Daily Executive (Plh.) Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretariat's Government Bureau, Muhammad Faisol, explained that the application letter for residents who had previously "raged up" City Hall was still being processed.

"We can convey that for people who have sent applications for PPSU formations to City Hall, these data will still be considered and processed further," said Faisol in his statement, Tuesday, June 24.

The application files previously submitted at City Hall, according to Faisol, will be sent to their respective sub-districts to check the completeness of the registration files in accordance with the requirements that have now been officially announced.

The related village will contact the registered applicants. They were then asked to update or update the application file according to the provisions applicable in the current PPSU recruitment.

"For those who submitted applications yesterday at City Hall, there is no need to worry, the data will still be processed. All residents may register directly to the kelurahan while still paying attention to the applicable conditions," said Faisol.

In April, a number of residents suddenly came to the DKI Jakarta City Hall by bringing a job application letter as an employee of other individual service providers (PJLP) such as public infrastructure and facilities handling officers (PPSU).

In fact, at that time the DKI Provincial Government had not announced the recruitment of PPSU. They learned from false news about these vacancies from relatives to social media. The DKI Provincial Government decided to receive a letter of application which amounted to thousands to be accommodated until recruitment was opened.

Now, the PPSU recruitment process is carried out by their respective urban villages. Residents who want to register as PPSU can see information about any kelurahan and how many PPSU officers will be recruited by each kelurahan on the website www.jakarta.go.id/loop.

PPSU registration has been open since June 23 and closed on June 26, 2025. Application letters were sent to their respective sub-district offices in accordance with the provisions in the recruitment announcement letter.

After that, an administrative test will be carried out on 27-30 June 2025, followed by a technical test on 30 June-11 July 2025, and the final announcement of anyone received as PPSU on 31 July 2025.
