Denies Personally Used Credit Funds! Sritex Boss Claims For Operations
JAKARTA - President Director of PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (Sritex) Iwan Kurniawan Lukminto (IKL) denied allegations of misuse of company credit funds.
After undergoing an examination at the Attorney General's Office on Monday, June 23, Iwan emphasized that the credit was fully used for the operational needs of the company and its subsidiaries.
"As far as I know, as the younger brother of the former President Director of Sritex, Iwan Setiawan, there is no use of funds for personal gain. The credit is purely operational," he said at the AGO's office, Jakarta.
This is the fourth examination for Iwan in the case being investigated by the AGO regarding alleged credit irregularities in Sritex's body. During this examination, Iwan said that he was questioned by around 24 to 25 questions.
"The questions are still about operations and how management is as long as I lead," he explained.
In addition to answering investigators' questions, Iwan also said that he had submitted a number of additional documents related to disbursement and use of credit.
When asked about the possibility of further examination, Iwan stated that there is currently no official schedule. However, he opened the door if at any time it is necessary to return to provide information. There are still some shortcomings of the documents they asked for. We will immediately complete and send them," he said.
