Retret Kepala Daerah Wave II Bakal Ada Material Batas Wilayah
JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya Sugiarto said the second batch of regional heads would include material on regional boundaries and potential regional conflicts.
Bima said the material would be conveyed by the Director General of Regional Administration Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs Safrizal Zakaria Ali during a learning session in the retreat which will take place at the Jatinangor Institute of Domestic Administration (IPDN), Sumedang, West Java.
"Later, Pak Safrizal will deliver the material regarding village boundaries because most villages have not yet completed their limits. Then also regional disputes, boundary lines, codifications, and others," said Bima Arya in Sumedang, Monday, June 23, confiscated by Antara.
He explained that this second wave of retreat provided more actual information to the participants than the first wave, especially due to the development of regional administrative issues that have occurred in recent times.
"Participants this time may be luckyer because there are many new developments that can add to their perspective as regional heads," he said.
However, in substance, Bima emphasized that the main material provided in this second wave of retreat remains the same as the first wave.
"So, the substance of the material is 100 percent the same as the first wave of retreat," he said.

The three main substances in this retreat include understanding the main tasks of regional heads, elaborating the President's big vision through the Astacita program, and strengthening anti-corruption and national insight conveyed by the National Resilience Institution (Lemhannas).
Bima added that the retret of regional heads also aims to strengthen understanding of government duties and harmonize President Prabowo Subianto's vision.
"So that regional heads also understand the big ideas of the President of the Republic of Indonesia can implement and accelerate the Astacita program," said Bima.
