Dan Ticktum Podium 1 Di Formula E Jakarta 2025
JAKARTA Dan Ticktum, pebalap milik tim Cupra Kiro, mencetakkan kemenangan perdana dalam kariernya di ajang Formula E setelah berhasil menjuarai Jakarta E-Prix 2025.
The British racer was the best in a full-drama race to back down the chances of Jake Dennis and Nyck de Vries leading the race streets early in the session on Saturday, June 21, 2025.
Despite starting the race from fifth place, the 26-year-old racer appeared calm and strategic. He managed to take advantage of the crucial moments during the Second Attack Mode activation at Lap 29 to overtake Dennis, who was then leading the race.
Ticktum had faced pressure from Edoardo Mortara (Mahindra) in the last four laps. However, he finally managed to maintain his position up to the finish line to record his first win after appearing in Formula E 60 times.

In addition, this result is the team's first win since Nelson Piquet Jr. won in Moscow in the first season.
At the start of the race, Jake Dannis of Andretti's team appeared dominant. He was then caught by an Indonesian racer, Nyck de Vries, who strengthened the Mahindra team.
Dennis continued to work hard to maintain his position from the pursuit of de Vries when the two of them activated Attack Mode on the 22nd Lap. However, on the next lap, de Vries managed to overtake and even damaged the front wing of Dennis' car in aggressive maneuvers at Turn 1.
The incident resulted in de Vries being rewarded with a 10-second penalty by the steward. Ironically, after the Full Course Yellow period towards the end of the race, both of them lost their chances of getting points.
De Vries had a technical problem and had to stop his car, while Dennis slipped back and into the pit.
Behind Ticktum and Mortara, finished Nico Mueller. The Andretti driver impressed to complete the third podium after starting the race from the 13th position.
Antonio Felix da Costa (Porsche), Nick Cassidy (Jaguar TCS Racing), and Taylor Barnard (NEOM McLaren) completed the top six. Meanwhile, the leader of the standings, Oliver Rowland (Nissan) finished in last place in the top 10.
