Jaksa Cecar Teman Lecture Hasto Soal Nomor Telepon Luar Negeri
JAKARTA - Lecturer of Political Science from the University of Indonesia (UI) Cecep Hidayat said that the Secretary General of the PDI-P Hasto Kristiyanto had had a cellphone number with a provider from abroad. But that number has been inactive since November 2024.
This statement was conveyed by Cecep when presented as a mitigating witness for Hasto Kristiyanto in the trial of the alleged bribery case for the management of the replacement between the time (PAW) of the DPR for the 2019-2024 period and the obstruction of Harun Masiku's investigation.
The Public Prosecutor (JPU) in the trial questioned the witness' knowledge of the cellphone number used by Hasto Kristiyanto. Cecep answered that the PDIP secretary general used a telephone number with domestic providers.
"Do you remember that what was stored was a number from the domestic or foreign provider that you kept on your cellphone?" asked Prosecutor Wawan Yunarwanto during a trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Friday, June 20.
"Throughout the domestic provider lecture, yes," replied Cecep.
"Do you have a domestic provider with that number?" asked the prosecutor.
"Yes, 62 means right," replied Cecep.
Cecep then mentioned that Hasto had used an overseas number. Although he did not remember in detail the number, the card has not been active since November 2024.
"Earlier I asked for the number, the cellphone number that was stored," said the prosecutor.
"All of the initials are domestic, domestic means. Last year was an outside number," said Cecep.
"When was it last year?" asked the prosecutor.
"That's the last November," replied Cecep.
"Still remember which number it is?" asked the prosecutor.
"No, I don't remember," replied Cecep.
Hearing this information, the prosecutor began to explore Hasto's foreign number provider code which was stored on the Cecep cellphone. However, Cecep forgot because he had deleted it.
"How much is the code? How come you can conclude the outside number?" asked the prosecutor.
"It's not +62," replied Cecep.
"This one, which is not +62, have you deleted it? The one in November was right?" asked the prosecutor.
"Yes, earlier," replied Cecep.
The prosecutor also investigated whether Hasto ever had a number with the name Sri Rejeki. Cecep said that Sri Rejeki's name never appeared when he kept Hasto's number.
"Has you ever been able to save yourself when Sri Rejeki appeared?" asked the prosecutor.
"Nothing," replied Cecep.
