Russian Drone Attacks Ukrainian Odesa, Train Station Damaged, Dozens Injured
JAKARTA - A total of 14 people were injured when a Russian drone attacked the city of Odesa in the Ukrainian Black Sea on Thursday night. The attack damaged tall buildings and rail infrastructure.
Odesa is the largest Black Sea port in Ukraine to be key to imports and exports. The region has been the target of Russian missile and drone attacks since the war began.
"Despite active operations from the air defense forces, there was damage to civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings, higher education institutions, gas pipelines and private cars," said local governor By goalkeeper.
Goalkeepers released photos of burning houses and charred tall buildings.
The local emergency response service said about 10 aircraft attacks were unmanned against residential buildings, which caused a major fire.
The Ukrainian air force said on Friday, June 20, Russia launched 86 drones into Ukraine overnight.
The military noted its air defense unit shot down 34 drones while 36 other unmanned aircraft were missing - referring to the Ukrainian military using electronic warfare to direct it.

Ukrainian state railway Ukrzaliznytsia reported the Odesa train station was damaged during the attack, with power lines and rails damaged.
Russian drones also attacked Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine overnight, destroying several private homes and multi-storey houses.
