KPK Investigate Alleged Corruption In Determination Of Quota And Hajj Implementation At The Ministry Of Religion
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating allegations of corruption in determining quotas and organizing Hajj at the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) in 2023-2025. The current process is still under investigation.
"Yes, that's right (there is an investigation into the alleged corruption in determining the quota and implementation of Hajj at the Ministry of Religion, ed)," said Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu when confirmed by reporters, Thursday, June 19.
Asep did not want to talk further about the investigation which was carried out behind closed doors. However, a number of related parties began to be summoned by investigators.

Previously reported, the KPK had received a number of reports from the public regarding the 2024 Hajj quota in the era of the Minister of Religion (Menag) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas. The agency spokesman at that time, Tessa Mahardhika, said the follow-up would be carried out
