Ojol Reports A Package Containing Drugs Sent By A Couple In Cengkareng

JAKARTA - An online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol) with the initials F suddenly panicked when he found out that the package he received from a couple in Cengkareng, West Jakarta, turned out to contain methamphetamine. The package is planned to be sent to the Serpong area, South Tangerang.

The incident began when F received a package delivery order from an unidentified male and female couple. The package was wrapped in a small cardboard box, looking like an ordinary delivery. However, the driver began to suspect the movements of the sender and the condition of the package.

Feeling that something was wrong, F decided to open the package in front of a number of witnesses. The process of opening the package was also recorded through amateur videos as a form of documentation.

When opened, F found two packs of methamphetamine that were neatly hidden in the packaging of coconut biscuits. He immediately reported the findings to the Cengkareng Police.

The action of the Cengkareng Police Chief, Kompol Abdul Jana, when confirmed stated that his party was still investigating the case. "I'll check first (the report)," he said briefly, Thursday (19/6/2025).

Until now, there has been no further information regarding the identity of the sender or whether the couple has been secured. The Cengkareng Police are still investigating the involvement of the two and possibly a wider network.
