Commission III Says DIM Of The Criminal Procedure Code Has Arrived At The DPR Leadership Table, Will Be Discussed After Recess

Chairman of Commission III of the DPR, Habiburokhman, said that the problem inventory list (DIM) related to the Criminal Procedure Code Bill (KUHAP) from the government had reached the leadership table.

Commission III of the DPR will immediately discuss the DIM after the DPR recess ends on June 23.

"I was called by my boss, Mr. Dasco, and received information that the DIM from the government already exists. I have finished the trial, I pray dzuhur before him. God willing, if there is, it's just a matter of waiting for the recess period to be completed," said Habiburokhman, Wednesday, June 18.

As for today, Commission III of the DPR received input from students regarding the Criminal Procedure Code Bill at the DPR building. Habiburokhman said his party was ready to discuss the Criminal Procedure Code Bill in the next session.

"God willing, in the future, after we explained, there are so many friends from the Borobudur university, we can kick off. Kick off to discuss this Criminal Procedure Code," he said.

"The meeting can be at the beginning of the upcoming trial sessions," added Habiburokhman.

However, Habiburokhman said Commission III of the DPR would continue to open the entrance to the people's aspirations for the future improvement of the Criminal Procedure Code.

"Earlier there were Borobudur (University) friends, we didn't even need RDPU. If there is input, you can get WA, you can video call, you can send documents to us. So we will continue to accommodate the aspirations of the community," he said.

"God willing, if indeed, we will discuss it at the beginning of the trial period, if possible, the maximum is in accordance with the law, twice the trial period we already have a new Criminal Procedure Code," he concluded.
