Respond To The Call Of The Criminal Investigation Unit Regarding The Budi Arie Case, PDIP Cadres Bring Additional Evidence

PDI-P (PDIP) cadre Wiradarma Harefa brought a number of additional evidences in the form of video recordings and conversations from the Minister of Cooperatives (Menkop) Budi Arie.

This was conveyed by Wiradarma before undergoing an examination or clarification on the report made regarding the alleged defamation with reported Budi Arie at Bareskrim Polri.

"Yes, as we also have evidence that we will definitely bring the video to the conversation. Yesterday we submitted it as evidence but there are several additionals," Wiradarma told reporters, Wednesday, June 18.

Selain itu, Wiradarma juga akan mengajukan beberapa sebagai saksi kepada penyelidik dalam kasus tersebut. Dari pemeriksaan saksi itu diharapkan membuat terangkap dugaan tindak pidana yang dilaporkan.

"Yes, we have submitted three four people to be witnesses," he said.

On the other hand, Wiradarma also asked investigators to immediately thoroughly investigate the case. Because until now there has been no apology from Budi Arie regarding his statement.

"Until now there has been nothing (or) a response from Budi Arie. Even though at that time it was based on what the spokesman conveyed after there was a meeting with journalists with the recording, he would communicate with PDI-P and until there was none," he said.

The report on the alleged defamation was known to be the aftermath of Budi Arie's statement that the framing of him received a commission on online gambling cases (judol) being masterminded by PDIP and Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Budi Gunawan or BG.

The report is registered with the number LP/B/250/V/2025/SPKT/Bareskrim Polri, dated May 27, 2025. Several pieces of evidence have been submitted during the reporting process.

Previously reported, there were circulating recorded voices of allegedly the Minister of Cooperatives Budi Arie Setiadi who communicated with a journalist. Budi said that his framing received a commission on online gambling cases (judol) being masterminded by PDIP and Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Budi Gunawan or BG.

The voice recording is known to be a communication between Budi Arie and journalist Ratastv.co, Agus Supriyanto.

In the voice recording that is suspected to be Budi Arie, he clearly and clearly said that journalists should not be carried away by the framing game of PDIP and Budi Gunawan or BG who cornered him in the judol case.

Budi Arie's name appeared in the indictment of the alleged protection of online gambling sites by a number of unscrupulous Ministry of Communication and Information employees. The indictment was read out by the public prosecutor (JPU) at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (14/5).

In the indictment, Budi Arie is said to have received 50 percent of the commission from the practice of protecting judol sites so as not to be blocked by the Ministry of Communication and Information.

The defendants in this case are Zulkarnaen Apriliantony (Budi Arie's friend), Adhi Kismanto (Ministry of Communication and Information), Alwin Jabarti Kiemas (President Director of PT Djelas Tandangan Bersama), and Muhrijan alias Agus (the decision of the Director of the Ministry of Communication and Information).

According to the prosecutor's indictment, initially Muhrijan offered a commission of Rp. 3 million per judol site to Zulkarnaen. After negotiations, it was agreed that the tariff was Rp. 8 million per site with the commission distribution as follows: 50 percent for Budi Arie, 30 percent for Zulkarnaen, and 20 percent for Adhi Kismanto.

"Terdakwa II Adhi Kismanto sebesar 20 persen, Terdakwa I Zulkarnaen Apriliantony sebesar 30 persen, dan untuk saudara Budi Arie Setiadi sebesar 50 persen dari seluruh website yang dijaga," kata jaksa
