Heroic Action Of Bripka Rofiq Arrests Perpetrators Of Persecution Until Knees Break And Broken Fingers

In the midst of emotion and pride at the Sukoharjo Police award ceremony on Monday, June 16, 2025, attention was paid to a member who received an award from the Sukoharjo Police Chief, AKBP Anggaito Hadi Prabowo, from the wheelchair.

The figure is Bripka Rofiq Agung Hartono, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kartasura Police, a Bhayangkara human who has devoted five years of his life to uncover various crimes. The injuries experienced became a kind of 'medali' invisible for his courage and dedication in carrying out his duties in the detective function.

Bripka Rofiq got the serious injury about one month ago, precisely on May 20, 2025, when he and the 2025 Candi Safe Operations team tried to arrest the perpetrators of the persecution in the context of eradicating thuggery in Wirogunan Kartasura Village. During the arrest, he had received resistance from the perpetrators. Although he suffered a number of injuries and was seriously hurt by the resistance, the perpetrator was finally successfully paralyzed.

"This incident did not traumatized me. I have no regrets at all. This is a risk that I understand from the start choosing this profession. And I am proud to be able to contribute in maintaining the safety of the community, even though it must be paid with this injury. Because this is part of my service," said Bripka Rofiq when met after receiving the award.

The doctor's diagnosis shows a fracture in the middle finger in the left hand and a broken knee in the right leg, this condition requires immediate surgery and rehabilitation. However, the spirit of Bripka Rofiq did not break. Full support from the family, as well as the extraordinary attention of the National Police institution, became the main reinforcement.

"Alhamdulillah, it has been operated on, and God willing, we can recover soon," he continued.

Receiving a direct award from the Sukoharjo Police Chief from a wheelchair to a moment of emotion and pride for Bripka Rofiq. For him, this award is not just a ceremony, but a validation that his sacrifice is not in vain.

"Alhamdulillah, I feel proud to receive the award from the Chief of Police. This award is a reminder of the struggle that I still have to go through," he said.
