Italian Regulators Investigate DeepSek Related To The Risk Of False Information
JAKARTA The Italian Business Competition Authority (AGCM) announced on Monday 16 that it had opened an investigation into China's artificial intelligence startup DeepSek. The artificial intelligence Starup allegedly failed to provide a clear warning to users about the possible emergence of false information.
DeepSek has not yet responded to a request for comment sent via email.
In a statement, the Italian regulator who also oversees consumer rights stated that DeepSek did not provide a "clear, direct, and understandable" warning regarding the risk of what is referred to as "halusination" in content generated by AI.
