Down 12.68 Percent, Realization Of State Expenditures Reaches IDR 1,016.3 Trillion As Of May 2025

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati conveyed that the realization of state spending reached Rp1,016.3 trillion as of May 2025, down 12.68 percent on an annual basis or year on year (yoy) when compared to the realization of state spending in May 2024 of Rp1,145.2 trillion.

Sri Mulyani said that this realization was equivalent to 28.1 percent of the state expenditure target in the 2025 State Budget of IDR 3,621.3 trillion.

"On the expenditure side, we see that it is the end of May, which means that it is almost close to 50 percent of the state budget," he said at the KiTa State Budget Press Conference, Tuesday, June 17.

Meanwhile, Sri Mulyani conveyed that the realization of central government spending as of May 2025 was IDR 694.2 trillion, down 18.74 percent when compared to the same period last year of IDR 824.3 trillion.

The realization of central government spending as of May 2025 is equivalent to 25.7 percent of the 2025 APBN target of IDR 2,701.4 trillion.

Sri Mulyani explained that the realization of central government spending as of May 2025 consisted of K/L expenditures worth IDR 325.7 trillion, down 19.31 percent when compared to the realization of K/L spending in the same period last year of IDR 388.6 trillion.

The realization of K/L expenditure as of May 2025 is equivalent to 28.1 percent of the 2025 APBN target of IDR 1,160.1 trillion.

Meanwhile, the realization of non-K/L spending as of May 2025 was IDR 368.5 trillion, down 18.20 percent when compared to the same period last year of IDR 435.6 trillion.

The realization of non-K/L expenditure as of May 2025 is equivalent to 23.9 percent of the 2025 APBN target of IDR 1,541.4 trillion.

In addition, Sri Mulyani said that Transfer Shopping to Regions as of May 2025 reached IDR 322.0 trillion, an increase of 0.34 percent when compared to the realization of transfers to regions in the same period last year of IDR 320.9 trillion.

The realization of Transfer expenditure to Regions as of May 2025 is equivalent to 35.0 percent of the 2025 APBN target of IDR 919.9 trillion.
