Strengthen Credit Transparency And Risk Mitigation, KTAKilat Fulfill OJK Regulations

JAKARTA - The KTAKilat online loan platform (pindar) recorded strategic steps in the peer to peer (P2P) lending industry by stipulating it as one of the reporters in the implementation of the Financial Information Service System (SLIK) by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

This determination is effective since December 4, 2024 based on the decision of KEP-61 D/06/2024.

It also marks the KTAKilat's commitment to encouraging accountable and efficient data governance in the digital funding services sector.

"The election of KTAKilat as one of the pioneers in reporting SLIK is the great trust of the regulator, as well as clear evidence that we prioritize transparency and efficiency in every of our business processes," said KTAKilat Operations Director Suhartono in an official statement, Monday, June 16.

Through an integration into the SLIK system by host-to-host, Suhartono said that his party is now directly sending and updating debtor credit data to OJK in a standard and real-time format.

He added that this implementation is not only a form of fulfillment of regulations, but also readiness to adopt a high data integrity-based system that can be accessed by the banking industry and other financial institutions for the credit eligibility checking process (iDeb).

Suhartono conveyed that the presence of SLIK in the smart industry is expected to strengthen the credit risk mitigation system in the financial industry, prevent fraud, and increase public confidence in digital financial services.

Selain itu, ia menyampaikan bahwa sistem ini juga membantu penyelenggara pindar dalam proses penagihan (collection) dan pembayaran kembali (repayment) oleh borower.

"With documented credit history data nationally, lender organizers can assess the risk more accurately and encourage payment discipline from borrowers," he said.

With this implementation, Suhartono said that service users, both lenders and borrowers, will benefit from a fairer and more transparent evaluation process.

It is also supported by a history of credit that is integrated nationally.

"KTAKilat hopes that this step can encourage the pindar ecosystem to become healthier, more responsible, and sustainable in the long term," he said.

Meanwhile, SLIK is an information system designed by the OJK as a substitute for the Debtor Information System (SID) owned by Bank Indonesia and this system functions to collect, store, and present data related to the history of loans or financial obligations of each debtor from all financial service providers, including banks, multifinance, and lenders.

In addition, the SLIK function for the pindar is currently only in the phase of receiving data or reports, in the future it will only be accessible or fully used.

Based on the Roadmap for the Development and Strengthening of Information Technology-Based Joint Funding Services (LPBBTI) or fintech P2P lending 2023-2028, phase 2 lists the implementation of Pusdafil 2.0 which is integrated with SLIK.

The Pusdafil 2.0, which is the Fintech Lending Data Center version 2.0, has been implemented by the OJK starting July 1, 2024 and the system functions to integrate pinning data with the SLIK OJK, which aims to increase monitoring of the pindar.
