Just A Year, Orders For BYD M6 Have Exceeded 10 Thousand Units

JAKARTA - The Multi-Purpose Electric Vehicle (MPEV) BYD M6 is quite liked in the country. The proof is that this pure electric vehicle has received quite a positive response in one year because it has been sold to more than 10 thousand people in Indonesia.

It is known, BYD M6 was first present in Indonesia in July 2024, to coincide with the presence of the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). At that moment, many parties were waiting for the vehicle to arrive.

This is because the vehicle can carry a lot of cargo and is considered an ideal vehicle and is suitable for the Indonesian market, where Indonesian consumers love vehicles with the type of seven passengers.

"ByD M6 achieved extraordinary achievements in its first year, by making it to 10,100 units (sold)," said President Director of PT BYD Motor Indonesia, Eagle Zhao through its official statement.

BYD M6i is equipped with sufficient dimensions to support the wishes of Indonesian consumers such as a length of 4,710 mm, a width of 1,810 mm, and a height of 1,690 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,800 mm.

Not only space that is wide and wide, this environmentally friendly vehicle has also been equipped with the use of a single electric motor (FWD) with a maximum output of 150 kW and a peak torque of 310 Nm. Acceleration of 0100 km/hour can be achieved in the range of 8.5 seconds with a maximum speed of 180 km/hour.

Meanwhile, for the main menu of this vehicle, BYD already uses a battery with a capacity of 71.8 kWh (LFP - Blade Battery). That way, the first MPEV in Indonesia is able to reach up to 530 km based on the NEDC standard.

With this positive response, launching ANTARA, Monday, June 16, BYD Motor Indonesia has held a one-year celebration of BYD M6's work in Indonesia by inviting its users to spend the night in an open natural area located at Lido Music & Art, Sukabumi, West Java, Saturday-Sunday (14-15/6).
