Electric Vehicles Are Getting More Eyed, MG Presents This Program Throughout June

JAKARTA - Electric vehicle enthusiasts in Indonesia are growing rapidly, referring to data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (GAIKINDO), sales of battery-based electric cars (BEV) in Indonesia in the first quarter of 2025 reached 16,535 units.

If in more detail, in March BEV sales reached 8,835 units, an increase compared to February which reached 5,138 units. The increase in figures shows that electric vehicles are now becoming trusted as the main means of transportation.

"The increase in interest in electric vehicles shows a change in consumer perspective. Now, people are starting to judge EVs not only in terms of style, but from their ability to answer the real daily mobility needs, including out-of-town travel," said MG Motor Indonesia Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frank Zhou, in an official statement received on Friday, June 13.

Responding to the high interest in electric vehicles, MG Motor Indonesia presents various special offers during June 2025. This program is intended to make it easier for consumers to have reliable and affordable electric vehicles.

For example, providing free insurance for one year as extra protection, then 0 percent installments for two years, free electricity vouchers for three years, bonus wall chargers, to life insurance for batteries and components of the core of electric vehicles. This program itself lasts for June 2025.

MG itself has various electric vehicle line-ups, ranging from MG4 EVs present as modern electric hatchbacks with futuristic designs, precision handling, and efficient One Pack thin batteries. With a distance of up to 425 km, MG4 EVs provide full self-confidence on daily and out-of-town trips.

Meanwhile, there is the MG ZS EV which is equipped with a fast charging system, active safety features MG Pilot, as well as regenerative braking that maintains power efficiency and gives more control while driving. The interior is wide with a modern touch screen and easy smartphone connectivity, making it suitable for modern families that prioritize efficiency and comfort.
