Israel Attacks Iran, Explosions Sound Near Tehran

JAKARTA - Israel's Defense Minister, Israel Katz said he had declared an emergency situation across the country as Israel's attack on Iran began.

"After the Israeli State's preliminary attack on Iran, missile and drone attacks on the State of Israel and its civilian population are expected to occur soon," Defense Minister Katz said, quoted by The Times of Israel June 13.

He said he had signed a "special order, according to which a special emergency would be imposed on the front lines across Israel."

"You must comply with the instructions of the Frontline Command and the authorities and remain in a protected area," added Defense Minister Katz.

Separately, the sound of explosions has been heard in and near Iran's Iran capital, Tehran, amid Israeli media reports the Israeli regime carried out attacks on Iranian targets, quoted from IRNA.

Voice sources remain unclear, and Israeli claims were not immediately verified.
