Prabowo Believes Indonesia's Economy Will Grow Well
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto believes the Indonesian economy will grow well and have the potential to surprise many parties.
"I believe our economic growth will be good. We will surprise many people," Prabowo said when giving a statement after closing the 2025 International Conference on Infrastructure (ICI) at JCC Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, June 12.
Prabowo conveyed this optimism along with a number of steps by the government which were considered to show concrete results.
Prabowo said the savings from the performance of the ministers allowed the government to fulfill its commitment to increase the judges' salaries.
Prabowo previously announced an increase in the judge's salary to the highest reaching 280 percent of the current salary aimed at the juniortical group.
In addition, Prabowo also said that he had inaugurated the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Campus, Defense University in Citeureup, Bogor, West Java, Wednesday (11/6).
The campus is intended to produce a new generation of engineers and young doctors who will contribute to the nation and state.
"And soon we will open schools, new campuses. We continue to work for the people," concluded the Head of State.
Meanwhile, in his remarks at the closing of ICI 2025, Prabowo said that the Government would implement fiscal discipline, by simplifying the licensing and land acquisition process to support the acceleration of national development.

The government will also strengthen cooperation between the government sector and private business entities, as well as establish closer synergies between the central and regional governments.
In order to support infrastructure projects, the government already has Danantara who will participate in financing and investment in the sector.
The President said that Indonesia is on the verge of a large and optimistic transformation towards the future of the national economy.
The President said Indonesia has enormous wealth, including the potential for marine resources that are considered not to be utilized optimally.
"We will be self-sufficient in food, it is very clear, we will be self-sufficient in water, and we will also be self-sufficient in energy in the near future and we will order it, we will enforce the law. Only with legal certainty, the right law is that the business climate will develop well," he said.
