Attorney: Reza Gladys Ready To Attend The Wanprestasi Session, As Long As Nikita Mirzani Comes Directly

JAKARTA - Reza Gladys's attorney gave a firm statement regarding the legal process for the default lawsuit filed by Nikita Mirzani.

In the latest trial that has not touched the subject matter of the case, Reza decided to postpone the presence of their client, doctor Reza Gladys, because it was considered irrelevant.

"We have asked doctor Reza not to attend this trial. Because there is no point in coming to trial at this time," said Surya Batubara, Reza Gladys's attorney at the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, June 11.

The trial which is currently in its early stages and has not yet touched the substance of the lawsuit. Therefore, the attorney stated that his client's direct involvement will be carried out in a more substantial stage.

"It has not been included in the subject matter of the lawsuit. In accordance with MA regulations, mediation will be attended by our clients," said Robert Par Uhum, Reza Gladys's attorney.

Robert also emphasized that the presence of doctor Reza in the mediation process was very dependent on Nikita Mirzani's presence as the principal of the plaintiff.

"At the time of mediation, it is certain that Doctor Reza will invite us to come for mediation, but with a note that any of Nikita's side comes," he explained.

According to him, an effective mediation process can only occur if the disputed parties meet in person, not only represented by their respective attorneys.

"Because from this principle, you have to talk principally. If doctor Reza comes, doctor Mufid comes to talk to the attorney there (Nikita) what do you meet? You won't find him. If I meet my attorney, I'll face it," explained Robert Par Uhum.

Robert emphasized that the good faith to resolve the problem peacefully remains open, provided that Nikita is present at the mediation.

"But if Nikita comes, doctor Reza and doctor Mufid will definitely come for a discussion so that it can be peaceful," he continued.

However, he also emphasized that the peaceful process cannot be carried out only between attorneys, but must directly involve the main parties in this lawsuit.

"But if Nikita doesn't come, who will the peace be with? Can't it be peaceful with a lawyer? The peace must be doctors Reza, Mufid and Nikita," said Robert.
