South Jakarta Satpol PP Evacuates Girl Who Is Suspected Of Being Tortured By Her Parents At Kebayoran Lama Market

The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) arrested a child who was tortured by his parents at Kebayoran Lama Market, South Jakarta, on Wednesday at around 07.20 WIB.

"This morning we Satpol PP found a child around the PD Pasar Kebayoran Lama area with an alarming condition," said Head of the Kebayoran Lama Satpol PP, Dian Citra to reporters in Jakarta.

Dian said the child was found alone and admitted that he had been tortured by his parents. However, the child has not been able to provide further information regarding the torture experienced because it is still difficult to speak.

"The victim is still having trouble talking, he doesn't know whose parents and which residents are," he said.

The Kebayoran Lama Satpol PP has taken the child to the Cipulir II Health Center and then coordinated with the Police.

"It has been coordinated with the Police, health and social," he said.

The Kebayoran Lama Satpol PP hopes that the perpetrators of the torture will be found soon.
