As A Result Of The Electric Pole Short Circuit, 3 Kiosks, 1 Luxury House And A Burnt Car In Kramat Jati

The fire scorched three units of kiosks and one luxury house and one vehicle on Jalan Dukuh V, RT 06/05, Dukuh Village, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta, Wednesday, June 11. It is suspected that the fire was triggered by a short circuit on an electric pole that grabbed into the kiosk building and spread to the house.

The flames quickly grew and burned the building due to fuel from a car parked in the garage of the luxury house.

East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. officers who were at the location immediately localized the fire.

"The object caught fire in one house, one car and three stalls. The current situation is that the fire has been in the cooling process since 05.10 WIB," said picket officer H Muncul to reporters, Tuesday (11/6/2025).

The process of extinguishing the fire was carried out by 15 units with a total of 60 personnel from the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept.

"Initially the owner of a tobacco kiosk who was in the room suddenly saw a light running out. When he came out and saw the situation, it turned out that the fire was already big at a tobacco kiosk, a photocopy kiosk and grabbed it at the house," he said.

Until now, officers are still carrying out the process of cooling the fire at the location of the fire.
