The Case File Of The RSHS Doctor For The Raping Of The Patient's Family Was Transferred To The Prosecutor's Office Tomorrow

The West Java Regional Police revealed that the suspect in the rape case at Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung, a Priguna Anugerah Pratama using an anesthetic from the hospital where he served.

Based on these findings, Surawan appealed to the hospital to conduct a strict evaluation of the monitoring system and use of drugs.

In addition, based on the results of psychological examinations, the suspect is known to have a sexual disorder in the form of fantasy for an helpless person.

"Yes, more or less, there is fantasy for helpless people," he said.

Despite having a psychological disorder, Surawan emphasized that this did not erase the criminal element in this case.

The suspect's actions can be subject to a weighting article as stipulated in Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence (TPKS).

"There was a weight of rape carried out against the helpless person in the TPKS Law," he said.

According to him, in Article 13 of the TPKS Law, someone who unlawfully puts another person in a helpless condition to be sexually exploited can be sentenced to sexual slavery with a maximum imprisonment of 15 years.

With the completion of all the results of the examination, the police stated that they were ready to submit the case files and suspects to the West Java High Prosecutor's Office.

"Delegation to the prosecutor's office is planned to be carried out this week. Tomorrow (Tuesday) it will be sent to the prosecutor," said Surawan.
