TransJabodetabek Passengers On The Bogor Route Of Jakarta Increase During Eid Holidays

BOGOR Since its launch by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, on Thursday 6 June, the number of TransJabodetabek passengers on the P11 corridor on the Bogor route (Hate Cidangiang) Jakarta (Blok M) has increased significantly, especially at the end of the 2025 Eid holiday.

Based on data from PT Transport Jakarta (TransJakarta), on the first day of operation, the number of passengers reached 1,230 people. This number increased to 3,161 passengers on June 6, 2025.

Welcoming the enthusiasm of the community, TransJakarta added 20 percent of the fleet operating on the route starting June 7, 2025 as a form of service mitigation.

The Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A. Rachim, welcomed the high public interest in TransJabodetabek services and appealed to residents to consider switching from private vehicles to mass transportation.

"Because we don't take passenger share from existing buses, not also from KRL users. Instead, we open up opportunities for users of private vehicles who usually take the Jagorawi Toll Road to switch to Trans Jabodetabek," he said at the Bogor City PWI Office, Saturday, June 7.

Dedie explained that the presence of TransJabodetabek services on the P11 route was the result of talks between him and the Governor of Jakarta while attending a Retreat activity in Magelang. During the meeting, Dedie submitted data related to the high volume of vehicles on the Jagorawi Toll Road, so an integrated mass transportation alternative was needed.

"I convey my desire for TransJakarta to enter Bogor. We know that traveling from Bogor to Halim only takes about 40 minutes with a good fleet. In Jakarta there is LRT and MRT, but when entering Bogor, the service is not yet available. So, we also want to experience equivalent transportation services," he said.

Dedie added that TransJabodetabek services complement existing transportation services such as BisKita. He also emphasized that he would continue to increase the number of fleets so that connectivity to Jakarta would be better.

To support the comfort of passengers, Dedie has instructed the Bogor City Transportation Service to adjust bus stop facilities and infrastructure, including the height of the deck at the Cidangiang Bus Stop to match the high TransJabodetabek fleet.

"The level of the deck must be adjusted so that passenger ups and downs access is more comfortable," he said.
