BMKG Predicts Light Rain In Guyur Jakarta On Monday Afternoon

JAKARTA The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that most areas of DKI Jakarta will experience light rain on Monday, June 9. The weather is predicted to fluctuate throughout the day, starting with thick cloudy conditions in the morning until noon, then followed by light rain in the afternoon until evening.

According to official information from the BMKG, the weather in the morning throughout Jakarta is expected to be thick cloudy. This condition will last until late afternoon.

Although there is no potential for rain in the morning, the public is advised to remain alert to weather changes that can occur at any time.

Entering the afternoon, light rain is predicted to flush almost all areas of DKI Jakarta, including Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, East Jakarta, South Jakarta, and North Jakarta. However, the Thousand Islands are expected to remain in a thick cloudy condition without rain.

The air temperature in the Jakarta area on that day is estimated to range from 24 to 32 degrees Celsius. This fairly humid weather is accompanied by relatively light wind speeds, which range from 3 to 8 kilometers per hour. This wind condition is considered quite calm and does not have the potential to cause extreme weather disturbances.

BMKG urges the public to prepare for the possibility of light rain, especially for residents who are active outdoors.

Motorized vehicle drivers are also asked to be careful on the road because slippery road surfaces when it rains can increase the risk of accidents.
