Ahok Promises To Brush Land Mafia Of DKI Jakarta Parks And Cemetery In Today's Memory, June 7, 2016

JAKARTA Memories of today, nine years ago, June 7, 2016, the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) promised to brush the land mafia at the Parks and Cemetery Service. The land mafia is known to embezzle funds for profit.

Previously, Ahok's commitment to fighting the mafia at the Parks and Food Service never broke up. Ahok once exposed extortion at the cemetery: the grave mafia. Whoever pays more, they get a strategic burial location.

Ahok is known as the Governor of DKI Jakarta who is close to his citizens. He often opens a complaint desk at City Hall. The goal is to find out the problems of Jakarta residents. As a result, Ahok understands many problems that occur in his working area.

Sometimes the complaint also shows information related to extortion that occurs in Jakarta. Take, for example, extortion that occurs at the DKI Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Service. The crime committed is extortion to get a strategic location for the grave.

Those who want to get a grave in a strategic location have to pay a lot. In fact, the DKI Jakarta government does not want such levies. Ahok was furious, not playing. Residents who reported to him were piled up.

Ahok moved to prove the issue of the grave mafia. He asked for extortion cases to be immediately examined by his staff. Extortion did occur. Moreover, information emerged from Ahok's close friends themselves. Ahok immediately took action.

Those involved in the grave mafia were dealt with. They were immediately fired and brought to the realm of law. This condition is proof that in the Parks and Cemetery Service many mafias are engaged to carry out extortion.

"Yesterday my friend's father just died. He smiled at me, he said, my staff got the grave in front of me, it would be a joke, if it wasn't possible to get it in front. So, talking to my friend, coming to the funeral home, I asked where he wanted to grave, where did he say where he wanted the grave? Then where did you get it? Got it in front of me, which is good.

"Be quiet, this must be my strike staff. If you don't work, you can't get a grave in front of you. We've been taking firm action against the mafia. Just ask for direct money transfer, just walk. That's why it must be confirmed, slowly it's better to make all of them non-cash. If it's cash, it can only be traced," said Ahok as quoted by the Tribunnews page, January 20, 2015.

Not yet resolved one problem, another problem emerged. The DKI Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Service has again had problems. Ahok again discovered a new model of corruption. He smelled that there was a land mafia besides the grave mafia at the DKI Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Service.

Ahok revealed that the suspicion stemmed from the Audit Result Report (LHP) of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) on the 2015 DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's financial report. As a result, four National Agency (Sudin) were found at the Parks and Cemetery Service which opened an unnatural account.

The four Sub-Departments include the North Jakarta Sub-Department, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta. The account is not active, but it has not been closed. The goal is believed to accommodate money from the process of purchasing land from the DKI Jakarta government.

Ahok also promised to brush the land mafia at the Parks and Cemetery Service on June 7, 2016. Ahok considered himself to have instructed every land purchase to be sent directly to the land owner, not divided or paid in stages. Something he considered a gap in corruption.

"Well, we are still checking. If it does happen (budget misappropriation) we report it to the police to take action. This means that there is a criminal element. Not only planned, there could be a mafia in one group. There have been several shipments to the power of attorney, there are various kinds of things. Then we also found that we did not fully send them. There are those who are adgadunih who want to be brought to court," Ahok said as quoted by the compass.com page, June 7, 2016.
