Bogor City Residents Welcome Transjabodetabek Positive

BOGOR - The presence of TransJabodetabek Bogor - Blok M was positively welcomed by the people in Bogor City. Since morning at 08.00 WIB, a number of people have been coming to access Transjabodetabek services, Thursday, June 5.

This mode of transportation is organized by the Provincial Government of Jakarta through TransJakarta in collaboration with the Bogor City Government (Pemkot).

The Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A. Rachim said that the presence of this Transjabodetabek is an alternative to public transportation as an effort to reduce the level of exhaust emissions.

"If you use your own two-wheeled vehicle, your own four-wheelers, all of them emit pollution, yes. Weather, air, quality will decrease," he said.

However, if the people of Bogor City and Jakarta are united through collective movements together using public transportation, they will take part in efforts to reduce air pollution levels, so that air quality will increase better.

"So basically let's switch to public transportation, public transportation, in Bogor there is BisKita, then Jabodetabek there is Trans Jabodetabek organized by TransJakarta," he said.

Meanwhile, a resident of North Bogor, Sukma, admitted that he was greatly helped by the presence of the Transjabodetabek Bogor - Blok M service.

"A few days ago I learned from tiktok, then from Mr. Dedie A. Rachim's statement too. This morning I also saw that it was stolen again today. Then I told my sister, I want to try it today. Then now try to take a walk and culinary delights there," said Sukma, when met at the Cidangiang Bus Stop.

According to him, the presence of this Transjabodetabek can help people move and increase tourist visits, both from Bogor to Jakarta, and vice versa.

The same thing was conveyed by Arman, a resident of West Bogor who used to use private vehicles.

According to him, with the connectivity of Bogor - Jakarta which is also supported by transportation connectivity in the city, of course this can reduce the cost of private vehicle expenditures.

"I usually use cars, or if I want to relax I ask to take them to Cilebut Station and continue to take KRL, but if this is the case I can take Bis Kita, then go to Jakarta by Transjabodetabek. It's not up to IDR 10,000 from home to Jakarta," he said.

He added, if using a private vehicle, he must spend more than 100 thousand for gasoline and toll fees. However, he hopes that transportation within the city of Bogor will be expanded.

"The hope is that in Bogor City, BisKita's reach will be expanded and its units added. Then for Transjabodetabek, other majors will also be added," he said.
