Present In Person At The Trial, Secretary Of The PDIP Faction Of The DPR Yakin Hasto Get Justice
JAKARTA - Secretary of the PDIP faction of the DPR, Dolfie Otniel Frederic Palit, believes that Hasto Kristiyanto will get justice in the trial of the alleged bribery case for the Interim replacement (PAW) of members of the DPR and the obstruction to the investigation of the Harun Masiku case. This is because the legal process carried out by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is considered to be flawed in procedures.
"For example, evidence that is flawed in procedures, then procedures that are legally flawed," Dolfie told reporters after watching the PDIP Secretary General's trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Thursday, June 5.
In addition, he believes that Hasto can get justice because the trial still leaves several agendas. According to him, the PDIP Secretary General's team of attorneys can refute all charges and convince the panel of judges.
"Yes, we see that the trial process is still there. Next week, we are still experts from legal advisors. We are optimistic that Hasto can get justice," he said.
On the other hand, Dolfie also highlighted the statement of a Criminal Law Expert from Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Muhammad Fatahillah Akbar who was judged unable to clearly state that the legal process against Hasto had a procedure defect.
"Yes, even though the legal defect is valid as evidence, now he is an expert who does not dare to conclude clearly," he said.
"But if we can conclude that many procedures are not in accordance with what has been regulated in the regulations," continued Dolfie.
