Israeli Troops Find Bodies Of Israeli-American Couples Persisted By Hamas
JAKARTA - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Israeli forces had found the bodies of two Israeli-American hostages that had been stolen by Hamas.

The bodies of both were found from the Khan Younis area of the southern Gaza Strip in a special operation by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Israel's Security Agency, also known as the Shin Bet.
Netanyahu said the couple were killed in the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023 and their bodies were kidnapped.

The IDF previously confirmed that both of them were killed on the day of Hamas' sudden attack by the same terror group, the book al-Mujahidin, who kidnapped and killed Israeli hostages Shiri Bibas and his two young children.
"We will not rest or remain silent until we repatriate all the victims of our kidnappings -- both those who are alive and those who have died," Netanyahu said.
A total of 56 hostages are still in Gaza, 20 of which are believed to be alive, according to data provided by the prime minister's office.
Two Americans -- Itay Chen and Omer Neutra -- are among 36 hostages believed to have died.
