Prabowo Sacrificed Half A Ton Of Cow In Jembrana
JEMBRANA - President Prabowo Subianto sacrificed a cow weighing half a ton in Jembrana Regency, Bali which was symbolically handed over by Regent I Made Kembang Hartawan.
"Today I convey the mandate of the sacrificial animal from the President. This sacrificial animal is a local Balinese cow," said Kembang when symbolically handing over the sacrificial cow to the Takmir of the Nurul Islam Mosque in Pangkung Tanah Hamlet, Melaya Village, Melaya District, Jembrana, Wednesday, June 4.
In handing over the sacrificial cows from the president, Deputy Regent I Gede Ngurah Patriana Krisna, Chairman of the DPRD Ni Made Sri Sutharmi and elements of the Jembrana Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkominda) were also present.
In addition to the sacrificial animals from the president, he said, the Jembrana Regency Government also provided sacrificial animals for 34 mosques scattered in the district.
According to him, before being handed over to the mosque administrators, the sacrificial animals had gone through a health check by officers from the Agriculture and Food Service.
"From the examination of the mouth, nails, height and chest of all sacrificial animals that were handed over to the mosque, they were declared healthy," he said.

He hopes that on Eid al-Adha, the Jembrana Regency Government can increase the number of sacrificial animals.
According to him, in Jembrana there are 64 mosques, but on Eid al-Adha, currently his party has only been able to provide sacrificial animals to 34 mosques.
"Hopefully on the next holiday, we can evenly give sacrificial animals. I and the deputy regent and chairman of the DPRD wish Muslims a happy Eid al-Adha," he said.
