Peak Hajj, Government Deploys 1,044 Health Workers For Armuzna
JAKARTA - Preparation for the peak of Hajj, the government deployed 1,044 Hajj Kloter Health Workers (TKHK), 192 Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) for Health, 14 ambulances along with two drivers, four wusuf safari buses, and medicines.
Head of the Haji Liliek Health Center, Marhaendro Susilo, said the peak of the Hajj in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina (Armuzna) was only a matter of hours.
On Wednesday, June 4, pilgrims began moving to Arafah, and the strength of Indonesian Hajj health services lies in a planned and integrated service network at all crucial points of Armuzna.
"The presence of the state in providing Hajj health services to pilgrims is an obligation," said Liliek as quoted by ANTARA.
He also explained about the logistics of drugs and medical supplies (perbekkes) prepared, including for the needs of the group while in Armuzna; needs in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina; as well as the need for wusuf safari buses. As of Tuesday (3/6), he said, drugs and Perbekkes began to be distributed to Arafah and Mina.
Similarly, the Head of the Health Division (Head of PPIH Saudi Arabia, dr. Mohammad Imran explained that during the implementation of Hajj health in Armuzna, medical consultation services will be provided by general practitioners and specialists, medicines and health care workers, referral facilities, ambulances, and data collection through the Integrated Hajj Computerization System for Health (Siskohatkes).
Imran also reminded that when the tents were full of Armuzna, the congregation continued to wear masks even though they were indoors, due to the many risk factors for Infection of Acute Breathing Channels (ARI) such as dust and density. In addition, he also asked officers to continue educating worshipers not to force themselves to worship.
The Director General of Health Human Resources at the Ministry of Health, Yuli Farianti, who is also the Chair of the Saudi Arabia PPIH Assistance Team for Health, reminded officers to always maintain health, and not forget to regulate eating and drinking times, in addition to providing services and health education to the congregation.
Make good communication and lead from the PJ appointed by PPIH Kesehatan to 8 sharia. For the TKHK, if there are conditions that cannot be handled alone, contact the nearest team and consult with PJ. Continue to educate the elderly: it is better to worship in the tent," he said.

Based on the Indonesian Hajj Mission Map, the Ministry of Religion determines eight sharia that manage the implementation of accommodation and transportation for Hajj pilgrims, including tents in Armuzna. The syaricans include: Al Bait Guests, Rakeen Mashariq, Sana Mashariq, Rehlat & Manafea, Al Rifadah, Rawaf Mina, MCDC, and Rifad.
With the current mechanism of eight sharia, Yuli revealed that there are problems in TKHK that are overloaded by the congregation.
For example, there is one sharia that only has one doctor who has to handle 800 worshipers. There are also other places where the number of doctors is large, with a ratio of 1:200 pilgrims. We must collaborate with each other. PPIH Kesehatan will fill the void in their respective groups, "said Yuli.
