30 Years Of Le Mans Victory, McLaren Launches 50 Unit 750S Special Edition

JAKARTA McLaren, a supercar manufacturer from England, launched a special edition of 750S Le Mans as a celebration of their 30-year historic victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance racing event. This exclusive edition is produced in very limited quantities, only 50 units worldwide.

This 750S Le Mans model performs differently from the standard 750S Coupe version thanks to the High Downforce Kit developed by the MSO division (McLaren Special Operations). This aerodynamic increase resulted in a 10 percent higher downforce, which was achieved through the addition of a more aggressive forward splitter, rooftop scoop, enlarged active rear wing, and lattice under the back wing. All of these aerodynamic components are made of light carbon fiber material.

This special edition comes exclusively in the Le Mans Gray or McLaren Orange color selection, both featuring a distinctive LM logo on the side of the body. McLaren also complements this car with an iconic five-stop LM wheels with a Stealth final touch. Furthermore, the timesper brake is painted with a Gold F1 color and decorated with a red McLaren logo. Buyers can also choose an optional Track Brake upgrade for more optimal braking performance on the circuit.

"The 750S Le Mans not only marked 30 years since our first win in this iconic race, but also an exciting moment for this brand with the McLaren GT3 EVO car taking part in this year's race and the announcement of our return to the top Hypercar class in 2027. This exclusive 750S is the first McLaren Le Mans issue since the F1 LM equipped with HDK aerodynamic refinement and will be one of our most searched for supercars, with the previous Le Mans editions of 650S and 720S which cost more expensive than the standard model. , said Chief Commercial Officer, McLaren Automotive Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer, quoted from the manufacturer's website, Tuesday, June 3.

Interior 750S Le Mans combines the luxury of Carbon Black Alcantara with the Black Soft Grain Leather Jet, combined with the Dove Gray accent or McLaren Orange Alcantara. The identity of this special edition is further strengthened by the bordir of the Le Mans brand on the backing of the head and carpet floor, as well as the unique placard signaling that this car is one of only 50 units produced.

In terms of performance, McLaren did not make any significant changes to the engine specifications. This limited edition still relies on a V8 4.0 liter twin-turbo engine that produces 740 hp (750 PS) and a 590 Nm torque.

This limited edition of 750S Le Mans is dedicated to honor the legendary McLaren F1 GTR #59, which won an unforgettable overall victory at 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995. The car was piloted by a talented racer trio, namely JJ Lehto, Yannick Dalmas, and Masanori Sekiya. This victory became an iconic moment in the history of McLaren's motorsports, affirming the performance and resilience of their cars on the world racing stage.
