Bentley Bentayga Speed Recently Comes With A V8 Machine, More Fierce Performance

JAKARTA - Bentley has officially introduced the latest Bentayga Speed which is claimed to have a more powerful performance and better driving dynamics than before.

Launching from Bentley's official website, Tuesday, June 3, its performance comes from a new 4.0 liter V8 twin-turbo engine so that it can pump up to 650 ps of power and 850 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Bentayga ever and exceeding the previous W12 configuration.

This is enough to make him run from 0 to 96 km/hour within 3.4 seconds with the highest speed claim of up to 310 km/hour.

The performance of the engine is assisted by a sports exhaust that gives him not only greater energy, but also a booming roar of the disposal system.

This exhaust can be externally distinguished by two elliptic exhaust pipes that appear through the back diffuser.

Not only that, this British automotive brand also provides the optional Titanium exhaust from Akrapovic so that it causes more dramatizing sound so that it can spur adrenaline for its users.

The SUV is also equipped with three driving modes, namely Comfort, Bentley, and Sport. For Sport mode, the manufacturer provides a significant improvement with a better driver response to the stiffness of steering damping which is increased by up to 15 percent.

Enhanced Sport Mode allows drivers to maximize their V8 engine power as they corner and experience the highly agile turning ability of the brake torque vector.

For a more thrilling driving sensation, Bentley also offers a useful carbon ceramic brake option as ESC Dynamic in Sport mode.

This allows cars to have an exciting drift angle or oversteer when power-on if needed. The torque vector by the brakes allows for a sharper bend, and more power is channeled to the road when exiting the corner, so drivers can be confident in maneuvering agilely on the track.

Speaking of design, Bentley Bentayga Speed is still retaining a similar design like other variants but with an adoption of a 22-inch dark rim.

Bentley also provided 23-inch rims as optional for the first time on Bentayga Speed which is available in satin, black, and black gray with a brighter final layer.

Completing his elegant look, Bentley Bentayga Speed only has a bright chrome on the front edge of the front door.

Speed's unique front light has a dark inner and dark bezel color, while the back light is gray, again with dark bezels.

Although the manufacturer has not disclosed the price, Autocar reports that Bentley Bentayga Speed is starting to sell for 219,000 (IDR 4.8 billion) and is positioned between variant S and EWB.
