"For vehicles that commit violations, sanctions are given in accordance with the types of violations committed, such as warning sanctions to ticketing by Civil Servant Investigators (PPNS) and the police in accordance with their authority," he explained.
Rudi hopes that this kind of monitoring and law enforcement activity will have a deterrent effect for the owners of people's transportation companies, as well as the drivers themselves.
Meanwhile, Director of Road Transportation Facilities and Safety Yusuf Nugroho said that the implementation of this activity was also carried out to socialize traffic safety and road transportation in the form of education and distribution of leaflets/brossies to passengers.
Furthermore, Yusuf said that with socialization, it is hoped that more people will understand the importance of knowing the condition of the vehicle before it is used or when it is going to rent.
"Every community that will use buses or other people's transportation is expected to check through the Land Partner application because it can be seen the status of the Supervision Card and the status of the KIR Test," said Yusuf.
