Huawei Pura 80 Leaks: New Design, Luxury Camera, And Ready To Debut This Summer!

JAKARTA - Huawei is likely to soon open a pre-order for its newest flagship smartphone line, the Huawei Pura 80 Series, starting this June, and officially launching in July "according to a recent leak from China.

Not only that, Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO, He Gang, accidentally leaked the design of a mysterious device. It is strongly suspected that one of the models from the Pura 80 Series was attending the launch of the MAEXTRO S800 smart car. He was seen using an unreleased cellphone to shoot the moment of the event, and fans immediately speculated.

Unique Design And "Monster" Camera

The design of Pura 80 looks a little different from its predecessor. The rear camera module is in the shape of a large triangle that almost covers half of the top body of the phone.

The difference? Now equipped with two periscope lenses in the middle, promises to improve zoom capabilities and extraordinary image clarity.

According to leaked from the famous tipster on X (formerly Twitter), Huawei Pura 80 will be equipped:

- The 50-inch main camera with a variable aperture

- 50MP additional camera (1/1.3 inches sensor) with dual focal length

- 40MP ultrawide camera

- The 2MP color temperature sensor increased from the previous version which was only 1.6MP for better color accuracy

Based on information from tipster on Weibo, Huawei will most likely open pre-order after the Naga Boat Festival holiday (May 31, June 2). The source also mentioned that the official launch is likely to take place on June 11, 2025, although there has been no official confirmation from Huawei.
