Waiting For The Autopsy Results, The Police Have Not Determined The Suspect Of Persecution Who Killed Elementary School Students In Makassar

Makassar Police have yet to determine a suspect and are still investigating the death of a class VI student at SDN Maccini Sawah Satu with the initials MRA who was allegedly abused by his colleague after the school exam.

"We are waiting for the autopsy results from the medical doctor to be declared dead because of what, then we will talk about the next step (determining the suspect)," said Makassar Police Chief Kombes Arya Perdanadilansir ANTARA, Monday, June 2.

The family has reported the incident and investigators have processed it at the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Makassar Police.

"Regarding the death (victim), it must be based on the results of an autopsy by the doctor. If the death is due to what, it is the doctor who knows," said Arya.

According to him, investigators have examined a number of witnesses from related parties in the case.

"From his parents and friends (witnesses). We will examine the teacher. This is temporarily still mourning, so parents can't, later when it's finished (will be examined), the period of mourning, we can't yet," he said.

Class VI student at SDN Maccini Sawah Satu with the initials MRA was reported to have died after receiving medical treatment at three different hospitals for five days due to alleged abuse. The victim breathed his last at Faisal Islamic Hospital on Friday (30/5).

The alleged abuse occurred last week in front of his school, after the victim took the final exam.

MR Asm's victim is the third of six children. The victim suffered chest pain, bruises on several parts of his body, as well as cigarette suggestion scars allegedly carried out by the alleged perpetrator.

"He (the deceased) was beaten outside of school, in front of his school. At that time when he came home from school because he was still a child in the exam," he said.

"This child is quiet, he doesn't want to say, he doesn't want to say (who ganged up). But the point is being chased (beaten up) by his friend," said Desma, the victim's aunt.
